The ability to remediate mold growth and sewage back flow is a basic requirement for restoration technicians.  A lack of education can be not only costly but also dangerous to occupants and technicians alike.  The IICRC AMRT Class at Reets Drying Academy will provide you with the necessary knowledge, experience and certification needed to perform microbial remediation.  At Reets Drying Academy, hands-on training for this course takes place in a house (not a warehouse) for the most realistic experience.

Course Description:

The Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ investigations or other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

Course Content Includes:

  • Guidelines and Industry Standards
  • Containment Types and Set-Ups
  • Pressure Differentials
  • Demolition and Cleaning Procedures
