This course combines the IICRC TCST and HST courses. Upon completing the course and successfully passing the exams, students will receive both certifications. Students also receive the OSHA 10 Hour General Industry card.
IICRC Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST)
IICRC Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST) course is designed to provide basic education, guidance, and understanding of the unique situations encountered when performing trauma and crime scene cleanup regardless of surface, item, or location.
The course will discuss the various procedures and precautions that should be taken when performing work at a trauma/crime scene and is based on the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard for Trauma and Crime Scened Cleanup: 2017.
IICRC Health and Safety Tech (HST)
Workplace safety is of primary importance in this industry. By training your team on engineering and admin controls, PPE, and best practices on-site, you can help prevent work-related injuries, reduce liability, and increase profitability. This class combines the IICRC TCST and the IICRC HST courses into 4 days of EXTENSIVE hands-on training. Upon completing the course and successfully passing the exams, students will receive both certifications AND the OSHA 10 Hour General Industry card.

- Compiling hazard assessments
- PPE selection and procedures
- Safely Use Equipment (ladders, etc.)
- Chemical labeling and safety data sheets
- Permit-Required Confined Space laws and Electrical Safety
- Bloodborne Pathogen and Exposure Procedures
- Emergency Action and Fire Prevention Plans
- Structural, Contents, Vehicle, and Machinery Remediation
- Various restoration equipment usage
- Laws regarding biohazard remediation
Testing fees are not included. Each IICRC Certification Exam is $80. Reets Drying Academy does not accept these payments and are not responsible for these fees. Please make arrangements to send a credit card or check made out to the IICRC for each technician
