Joe teaches with a background of over 30 years in the cleaning and restoration industry.  His experience includes daily experiences in direct operations of construction, professional cleaning, restoration, inspection and consultation that allow him to help guide individual cleaners, restoration contractors and business owners.  Joe also has ongoing experience as a consultant to insurance companies and was employed as a property claims adjuster with a major insurance carrier.

He has held the position of Vice-Chair of the Certification Council and Restoration Division Chair and is certified in all divisions of the IICRC.

Joe teaches many training classes as an IICRC-approved instructor and is approved in approximately 20 states to teach continuing education to the insurance industry in water, mold, fire and odor classes.  He has a teaching style of down-to-earth yet with a dynamic personality.  As an IICRC-approved instructor since 1993, he currently teaches classes in Water Damage Restoration, Fire/Smoke Restoration, Odor Control, Carpet Cleaning, Color Repair and Applied Structural Drying.  Until 2007, he oversaw 4 divisions of a previously-owned company including construction, cleaning, fire/water/mold remediation, distribution, and personally taught and administered the training facility.
