Frequently Asked Questions

What Time Zone Are the Classes in?

All classes, In-Person and Livestream, are held in eastern standard time, EST, unless otherwise specified.

Will I Need to Bring Any Tools?

WRT/ASD: No tools are needed. You are welcome to bring your own meters if you wish. However, we will provide everything that is needed for class. Since you will at times be learning in the flooded house, we recommend work-appropriate clothing.

Estimating and Negotiating Combo: You will need to bring a laptop with Xactimate already downloaded on the laptop.

Will I Need to Bring a Laptop?

For Hands-On Courses (WRT/ASD): You do not need to bring a computer.

For Estimating and Negotiating and our Estimating and Negotiating Plus Courses, we highly recommend you bring a laptop with Xactimate installed on it. We also recommend you bring a tablet, if at all possible, for use during the Xactimate Mobile training portion of this course.

How Do I Register for an IICRC Exam?

Before the course starts you will need to login to the IICRC Website by clicking here to pay and register for the exam. We recommend you doing this as soon as you pay for your livestream course.

Since Reets Drying Academy Does Not Collect IICRC Exam Fees, When and How Do I Pay Them?

IICRC exam fees are paid directly to the IICRC when the exam are administered. Please bring a check or credit card for each exam. Exam fees are as follows:
WRT/ASD $160
WRT only $80
ASD only $80
AMRT $150

How long does it take to get my exam results?

Reets Drying Academy does not control the timing of when you will receive the results of your exam. You can check on the IICRC website by clicking here. You can also contact the IICRC’s customer service department via their chat box on their site.

How Many CEC Hours Do I Need to Get to Keep My Certification Valid?

The IICRC requires 14 continuing education (CE) credit hours every 4 years for each restorer to renew their certification. These credits can be earned through approved training courses like the Reets Drying Academy online CE program. Click here to enroll today!

Class was informative and fun- enjoyed it very much! Dave has a lot of real world experience, provides additional useful information beyond what 's needed for testing alone, and does this with a great sense of humor and care. Great class.
