Protégé Solutions was started out of necessity. This necessity arose when the restoration industry stopped providing equipment focused on drying effectiveness and efficiency. Unfortunately, this shift was driven by a lack of information from both restorers and equipment manufacturers. It all became about price and how many units you could fit on your truck, while drying performance became merely an afterthought. In the minds of restorers, an air mover is just an air mover—so why not buy the cheapest one, or the one that allows you to fit the most on your truck? Another issue was that the few remaining high-performing and efficient products were overpriced, hindering widespread adoption. Chuck Dewald III, a partner in Protégé, could not sit back and watch this trend continue—thus, Protégé Solutions was born. Chuck’s goal was to provide the industry with the most effective and efficient drying equipment, while also accounting for price, size, weight, power, durability, and warranty protection. This vision led to the creation of the AXL-3000 axial air mover, which is, hands down, the industry’s best-performing air mover for its price, size, weight, power, durability, and warranty protection.
