How can you effectively train your team to be successful both in the office and in the field?

Training is an essential aspect of all companies. Consider two forms of learning to implement: synchronous learning and asynchronous learning.

Synchronous Learning

Synchronous learning is a form of learning that takes place in real time and engages a group of people to learn at the same time. Examples of synchronous learning are live webinars, video conferencing, and virtual classrooms. This form of learning allows the learner to ask questions and receive answers right away. It’s an effective way to train your team on new company policies or new software used within the company. However, this form of learning does not allow much flexibility in schedule nor customization for each learner.

Asynchronous Learning

Asynchronous learning is more centered on the individual learner. Examples of asynchronous learning are pre-recorded video lesson, blogs, and online discussion boards. Instead of constraining the learner to a specific place and time, the learner can freely choose when and where they complete the course. However, due to a lack of an instructor, it may cause the learner to lack motivation in the courses. A way to combat that issue is by providing engaging, relevant content.

Both are beneficial forms of learning. So why choose between the two? By providing a learning environment within your company that implements both synchronous and asynchronous training, you can benefit your team members immensely.

Reets TV Online Training can provide you the perfect platform to do so. The videos and material provided with this program can be used during company meetings and on an individual basis.
